There are many things that I care about. One of those things is raising awareness to causes and places that try to help others.
Below you will find a list of resources that may be helpful to you, or someone you may know!
There will also be a few links to where you can donate to different charities and causes, if it is so desired!
A Few Things to Note Before Jumping In:
|
1. Some of these places are helplines for places that may discuss "triggering" topics, such as suicide, mental health, race, and abuse.
2. This is not sponsored, I am not getting any kind of money or kick back from this. I literally just wanted to give a list of resources that may be helpful to other people! 3. I am not to be held responsible if any unfortunate, unforeseeable thing happens, if you choose to visit any of these websites or contact any of the helplines. While I have done my best to provide awareness to virtual safe spaces, I have also never used these places, personally. I have donated to quite a few of the places and have never had issues. However, I will not be held liable if your fate is different than mine. I am also not to be held responsible if any unfortunate, unforeseeable things happen physically after you choose to visit any of these websites! 4. This is not a place for "political" debates or opinions. Many of these organizations and charities support causes that I consider to be human issues, rather than being things that should be tied to something as convoluted as politics/left vs. right debates. If any of these organizations do not align with you or your personal beliefs, simply exit this page. I also encourage you to learn empathy, how to listen to others without speaking over/for them, and educating yourself on these organizations and causes beyond what you've been told by your personal/inherited bias, church leaders, news outlets, and Facebook feeds. There's a whole world out there full of people that are fully capable of talking for themselves, it's important to really give them a listen. |

More resource links will be provided in the future. I try my hardest to confirm that places are legit and actually put the money towards what they claim it does on their websites. I try to be aware of what other people report about certain organizations and companies, but sometimes I don't find out about negative things until I've already donated.
